Windows 10: Mouse moves but can't click

I've looked all over reddit and the problem doesn't appear to be rare. What everyone seems to be suggesting is to open Task Manager using the shortcut CTRL/ALT/DEL or CTRL/SHIFT/ESC, which fixes it for a random amount of time, could be 20 seconds, could be 20 minutes. The things I have tried are: System file checker, System reset point, factory reset the one where it saves files, complete factory reset, I have tried multiple mice in multiple USB slots, I have uninstalled and reinstalled mouse drivers, I have ran a memtest64, updated bios, updated motherboard drivers, I have used an external

I would suggest you to test the issue plugging in a different mouse and see if the issue persists.

You may also test the same mouse on a different computer and let us know the results.

I would also suggest you to follow these steps and test the issue:

• Click on Start.
• Search for Ease of Access and click on Ease of Access mouse settings.
• Turn on Use numeric keypad to move mouse around the screen.
• Check if the mouse moves in the right direction when you use the numeric keypad on the keyboard.
