Windows 10: Phone Link Alternatives?

Hello community!I'm done struggling and fighting with the phone link app. I use it at work to communicate with clients and I spend too much time restarting and refreshing, troubleshooting, etc. It's even started separating group texts into multiple bubbles so I have to hop back and forth between text chains to figure out who is responding to whatThis has been an ongoing problem that I have no faith will ever be resolved. Do you have any alternative apps that you can recommend? Something I can use on my desktop.

remove the current registered phone on your Windows 10 device then
re-add it once again. In that way, it will refresh its setup and it should be connected smoothly on your computer. Here are the steps:

• On your computer, select the
  Start button, then select Settings >
  Phone .
• Select Add a phone, then enter your phone number and select
  Send.
• Look for a text message from Microsoft on your phone. Once you receive the text,
  open it and tap the link.
• The link will open the App Store (on iPhones) or the
  Google Play Store (on Android phones) to a Microsoft application that links your phone and computer.
  Install the application.
• Once it's installed, open the application and follow the instructions to try out your first cross-device experience.

The new sync feature is available through Cortana for Android or Microsoft Launcher application. Just to clarify, we would like to know if you're using an Android phone or iOS/iPhone?

Can't "Link to Wndows"

Thanks so much. I will certainly follow your tutorial in the future. I think resetting did the trick, and I was also able to set a pin code. Question. I am confused about one ongoing step: "Go to www.aka.ms/addComputer" in your browser." A search for this, and other similar url's suggested in the Phone LInk setup always ends up the same way, with a trip to nowhere.

Clicking in those types of links end up in a blank tab
