Windows 10: Microsoft account locked, verification cod via phone not working.

first pay attention to me, I had an original win7 on my laptop when I bought it, a genuine preinstalled on MSI cx61, after Microsoft deadline I was to upgrade it to 10 in advantage period, I did it using then a yahoo mail as my Microsoft account, after some years due some problems I had to reinstall or r

Account verification when overseas

You helped Sam, but it does not solve the problem. None of those three steps work for me. There has got to be another way. I had this happen to me last time I was in Italy. Microsoft and Google had me locked out. Luckily Google has a third alternate email
which I had listed Yahoo. I never use it but in this case Yahoo did not lock me out and I was able to recover one of the other accounts but there has to be another way.

Phone service, no matter what the device will never work for me. I have an Italian phone number and Italian flip phone but I don't think they accept foreign phone numbers???

I just tried to add an Italian phone number. Yahoo will let you do that and I did. Google will not as far as I can see you can only have one phone listed. Microsoft will let you add an Italian (or any other country) phone but they will sent a security code
to that phone to verify. This will not work for me now as I am in the U.S. and my Italian phone is off with no service. I could do this if I was in Italy and not locked out of my Microsoft account.

Both Google and Microsoft have a third alternate recovery email listed (in my case Yahoo) which like I said the last time I had this problem Yahoo did not have me locked out.
