Windows 10: Windows Activation Problem

Hello,I had bought a windows 8 license and activated it in my personal laptop Laptop 1. When my laptop changed, I moved the license to my new personal laptop Laptop 2. Then I got the Laptop 2 upgraded to Windows 10. After I got another new laptop Laptop 3 and reset my Laptop 2, the license wouldn't work. Why is it so? My understanding was that the license became digital license as that is what was being shown in my Activation Settings in Laptop 2. However, when I connect my Microsoft account to Laptop 3 the license doesn't get used and it still shows the activation error. What should I d

I suggest you to activate the copy of Windows 10 via phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select your Region/Country.
• Select the Phone Activation option, and hold on for a real person.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
