Windows 10: Why is half my taskbar gone on my laptop?

Why can't I find the icons or the taskbar? Half the taskbar is gone after I switched my laptop from tablet mode to laptop mode.Some icons like the volume, battery and time and mini icons are available and I can click them, but the rest is gone because half of the taskbar is not there, I can't close or restart the laptop because of the issue. My laptop is: HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Where have the Taskbar icons gone?

After the Windows 11 update at the end of January half the Taskbar icons have disappeared. I've tried the various tweaks suggested by other forums but nothing works. The functionality is still there (you can see the apps when you move the mouse cursor over the spaces where the icons used to be) but the graphics have gone. How can Microsoft keep releasing "updates" with such major bugs?
