Windows 10: Sound and buffering problems with video playback

Hi, I've recently rebuilt my PC with a clean install of Windows 11 via USB. Everything was working fine yesterday but today I'm having issues with video playback. Youtube videos start playing with no sound whilst showing a buffering circle. Downloaded media also plays with no sound until paused, then refuses to restart. I've also started getting a similar issue in video games. Not sure if this is a driver issue somewhere but as far as I can tell everything is up to date.

Videos are Always Buffering

Up until an hour ago everything was fine, now all video in Edge is constantly buffering or plays in slow motion with no sound. I tried the thing about software or GPU rendering and restarted the PC and the problem persists. Why does this sometimes happen
out of nowhere after video playback has been fine?

• What is the format of the videos you are trying to play?
• Does this happens with all other videos as well?

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update your graphic card drivers.

I suggest you to update graphic drivers and check if it helps. Follow the steps given below.
