Windows 10: Snip and sketch app - menu issue

Hello,in recent version of Win10 are exist issues- menu issue of app Snip and sketch in attached screenshot.- double click left mouse button on menu bar is not maximize the app.- left click and hold on menu bar not move app window.

Snip & Sketch keeps overriding clipboard

Here are the few steps you can try to fix the issue.

Method 1

Refer the article Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store
and try the suggested steps and check if the issue still persists. If the issue still persists try with the method 2.

Method 2

Reset Snip & Sketch app

1. Press Windows + I key and click on
   Apps.
   
2. Click on Apps & features. Select Sketch & Snip app from the available list of installed apps.
   
3. Click on Snip & Sketch > Advanced Options.
   
4. Click on Reset option.
   
5. Restart the computer once and check the status of the issue.
   
6. Let us know if the issue still persists.

Good day! I'm a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you. When was the last time it worked properly? What is your current Windows version and edition? Press Start then click Settings(Gear icon), select System then About.

Please try the following methods below.

**Update Snip and Sketch app

Open Microsoft Store then Click 3 dots

Select Download and Updates

Update Snip and Sketch or click Update all

**Reset the Snip and Sketch app

Press Start then search Apps and Features

Search and click "Snip and Sketch" app in the list

Click Advanced options > Reset

Let's try to reinstall Snip and Sketch app via PowerShell.

Press Windows key+X then select Powershell(Admin)

Copy and paste the command to uninstall Snip and Sketch app

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* | remove-appxpackage

After that, Proceed to reinstall Snip and Sketch app

Open Microsoft Store then search Snip and Sketch

Click Install

or Install Snip and Sketch via PowerShell

Press Windows key+X then select PowerShell(Admin)

Copy and paste the following then hit Enter:

Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.ScreenSketch* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Restart your computer

App location for Snip & Sketch

The Windows 10 Snip & Sketch App is a Microsoft Store (UWP) App, so it does not have a traditional ".exe" file or location that can be accessed to create a hotkey.

If you want to create a Hotkey to a UWP App (eg. Snip & Sketch), the easiest way is:

1. Type Shell:Appsfolder in file explorer's address bar or from the Run dialogue (Win+R)
   

This will open the "virtual" start menu apps folder for us to work with.

1. Locate the App (eg. Snip & Sketch), right click and select "Create shortcut." Allow the shortcut to be placed on Desktop.
   
2. Right click on shortcut, enter properties and customize shortcut key.
