get error code 0xc0000005 when trying to launch MS Flight simulator 2024 on W11. Updated graphic drivers but still doesn't work, Any tips?

Ms Flight simulator Error on Launch

Welcome to the Microsoft community. Based on your description and screenshots, it looks like you received a CoherentGTCore.dll loading error after updating the Flight Simulator's launcher with the error code 0xc000012f.

Here I will provide some options to help you solve the problem:

Repair Flight Simulator:

1 Search for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the taskbar and click on Application Settings

2 After opening the settings page, click on the Repair button, if you can't click on it or it fails to solve the problem, click on the Reset button.



Uninstall Flight Simulator:

1 Search for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the taskbar

2 Click Uninstall, and then in the pop-up box, click Uninstall to remove the SIM card.

3 After uninstalling, check to make sure you have deleted all files. Default installation location: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe

If you installed it in a custom path, go and search for that path.

4 If there are remaining files, move all remaining files to the Recycle Bin



Reinstall Microsoft Flight Simulator:

1 Search for and open the Microsoft Store in the taskbar search box.

2 Click on "..." at the top right. Open the drop-down menu and select "My Library".

3 In the list, find Microsoft Flight Simulator, select it and start the installation, if the digital ownership is available.

4 Once the installation has started, click the "Launch Button".

5 Sign in to Microsoft Flight Simulator using the account you purchased the game from.

6 On the "Welcome, Setup Your Experience" screen, select the installation path for the "Package".

7 Click the "Update" button to begin downloading the package.

Unable to open Microsoft Flight Simulator X on Windows 10

As you are facing issues with accessing Microsoft Flight Simulator X on Windows 10, do let us know the following to assist you better:

• What exactly happens when you try to open the game?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message with this issue?
• Have you made any changes to the Operating System prior to this issue?

Step 1: I suggest you to update the pending updates found on your system and check if it helps.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

MS Flight Simulator Activation Code

After a three hour installation process, I loaded the new MS Flight Simulator DVDs onto my computer. After install, it prompted me to enter my activation code which I did. It accepted and then prompted me to download flight simulator. I didn't believe this
was correct so I closed the window, and then logged into my MS account. I again entered my code at the "REDEEM" prompt and then it said, "This code has already been used."

Now what? Can anyone help me get this activated???
