How to suspend bitlocker on a non-system drive using command line or powershell

I don't have accees to the control panel "suspend bitlocker" settings because I have "windows 10 22H2 home".So I have been using both command line and powershell commands whichever happens to be most convenient for me, to induce the suspension "indefinitely" with any of the following commands:"Suspend-BitLocker -MountPoint -RebootCount 0" OR "Manage-bde -protectors -Disable : -RebootCount 0".Both these commands work fine with the system drive drive C: but refuse to allow me to do so with my encrypted data drive D:Why does Microsoft always feel SO compelled to not let me do whatever I wan

Need to turn off Bitlocker to install Windows 10

    Hi,

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

    • You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
    • The drive must be BitLocker-protected.
To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

    • Click Start, click Control Panel, click
System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
    • Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
    • A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
    • Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.

Let us know how it goes.

How to Use Bitlocker on Only Non System Drive and without TPM

I want to use Bitlocker on my Non System E Drive without TPM. I read somewhere to do the following for without TPM:

" Under Local Computer Policy navigate to Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Bit Locker Drive Encryption \ Operating System Drives and double click on Require additional authentication at startup." and so on.

but I am confused because the above note is mentioning "Operating System Drives " wherein I want to turn on Bitlocker on Non System Drive.

Can we turn bitlocker "on" on Non System Drives without turning it "on" on System Drives and Can we turn it "on" on
a Single Folder instead of Drive.

    Please advise step by step.
