Windows 10: KB5052077 update for Win 10 fails to install with Win Update or from Win Update Catalog

When Win Update downloads and installs KB5052077 on my Win 10 desktop it tells me there were problems and it will retry but same thing happens over and over. I ran the Update troubleshooter and it found nothing wrong so I tried to install directly from Win Catalog and the update process window does not advance or completes but gives me this message but with no explanation as to what happened or what to do....... SO......every time I boot up or restart I get the Getting Windows Ready screen and round and round we go. I have been trying to install this update for over a week. Its creating real

Win 10 1607 update

Installed the update manually at the the moment everything is bueno.
It seems that Microsoft has a big problem in there update department windows 7 update has problems win 8 update has problems. Windows 10 update is so-so.

when system shuts down it starts installing it
when it boots up it undos the instal says its failed..
anny way to fix it?

Shit, I used some doohickey to disable Win Store and remove some apps after installing Win 10 - now this update keeps failing to install.
