Hi, I have just got new ASUS laptop, and upon a first login, I have provided my company M365 Professional account, but I was not able to log in.I keep getting user don't exist. I use this user for some time on my other laptop without any issues.Just to be clear, following procedure doesn't apply anymore to latest Win11:"Is this a domain account? Try registering it as a MS Account athttps://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402632... ?If it still won't allow it then go ahead and disconnect from the internet which will force it to set up a Local Admin account for now. Then register the accoun

OOBE comes up every time you start windows

Just wondering if anyone else has run into this before. Every time I start this system the OOBE (out of box experience) comes up saying "hi would you like to turn on automatic updates?" "how about creating some user names" etc. It's very weird.

    some background:

The computer was complaining of corrupt files and would not start so I ran memtest86 for 4 hours with no errors, used SeaTools to check the hard drive (it passed except for file system test, which always fails whenever I run it on any hard drive anyway, and besides if I format that should fix it anyway right?), and no errors were found.

So I reinstall XP, then install a bunch of drivers, restart, and get the OOBE again. Once I run through its song and dance again (although it never asks me to activate a second time) I notice that all the drivers are working except the display driver.

I tried reinstalling multiple times, now I'm going to try my XP Pro disk (this is XP Home).

Also once I got it up and running it seems to be generally stable besides having to look at ugly 640x480 no video drivers display, I even downloaded and ran OCCT which passed no problem.

I'm thinking it still might be a bad hard drive even though all the physical tests passed, maybe I should download the utility from samsung that lets you do a low-level format.

    Any ideas?

  3. Keeps booting into OOBE screen

I was run sysprep accidentally in Windows 11 from my Inbuilt administrator account. But, now the windows keeps booting into OOBE setup. Unable to exit from the OOBE screen after multiple restart. Same time tried to create a local offline account but keeps force into connect with wifi or Ethernet network connection to get sync with microsoft account. I have tried after turn off wireless router and Laptop wifi button but no luck Start for the first time Windows OOBE keeps failing :(

Is i am going to loose my existing account if i setup new account via OOBE screen. Is there any possibility to get out of OOBE screen?

Start for the first time Windows OOBE keeps failing

    Windows 10 OOBE on startup

Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Anthony.

I'm Independent Advisor and I'm happy to assist you.

I understand how difficult it is, when the device or app won't work in the way it should.

When you start a new Windows-based computer for the first time, the Windows Out-Of-Box Experience (OOBE) process guides you through various setup operations. In rare cases, you may encounter one of the following issues during OOBE.

    >> Windows OOBE displays the following error message:

Something went wrong – But you can try again.

    >> Windows OOBE does not transition to the next page, and you receive a “Just a moment…” prompt for an extended time.

    You may try below suggestions:

    >> (“Something went wrong – But you can try again”), click Try again at the bottom of the screen. The OOBE process should continue as expected.

    >> (“Just a moment…”), press and hold the power button until the system turns off, and then turn on the system again. The OOBE process should resume and complete as expected.

    Hope it will help.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you and Keep Safe.
