  1. Windows Store apps have missing permissions

any app I try to open from the windows store states that "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." The thing I find strange is that if i open any of these apps as administrator the function like nothing happened. Even if I open the app again as standard. This is only a temporary fix since if I restart my pc its back to the original error. I have tried many different guides online to try to fix this error but I haven't had much luck.I have tried to use the Administrator account and everything works fine there so

    :)

Missing apps: Store, People, Photos, Games & Camera on upgrading to 10

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?

unable to download games from app store

    Hi,

I suggest that you reset the Windows store, follow the steps below.

    Reset the Windows Store

You can use the steps below to refresh the Store which will clear the cache and refresh your library and permissions.

    • Close the Windows Store app if you have it open.
    • Click Start and type wsreset.
    • Right-Click on the command and click Run as Administrator. If the Windows permission box appears, click Yes or Run.
    • A black MS DOS screen will appear for a few seconds. Wait for it to disappear and the Store will automatically open.
    • Attempt to install Sea of Thieves

If you have further questions, feel free to reply to this thread.

    Kind regards,

    Leon
