Windows 10: How do I disable Windows Security feature requiring a PIN when Chrome autofills passwords?...

How can I get windows hello to stop trying to auto fill my passwords + payment info on Chrome? I turned it on a year ago just to see how it would be, and I am not a fan of it at all and would like it to stop. TO CLARIFY - I have already checked the Chrome setting "Use Windows Hello when filling Passwords" and it is already set to OFF. On every forum I can find, that seems to be the solution, so that is my problem here, because for me - the setting is already off. So now I have no idea what could be causing it or how I can turn it off. Please help me troubleshoot this. Thank you for your help

I understand that you're having trouble with a Windows Security feature requiring a PIN when Chrome autofills passwords.

However, I would like to let you know that this feature is actually by design. If you have set up a password, Chrome Password Manager would always ask for the user account password for security reasons.

It's also worth noting that the screenshot you've shared may reveal some of your personal information to the public, so I would advise you to edit or delete it.

Recently, I had a pop-up on my laptop running Windows 11. It asked if I wanted Windows Security to require my PIN whenever Chrome tries to autofill my user id and passwords. I chose yes to see how it would work. After a few days, I decided I no longer wanted to have this extra layer of security.

I tried disabling it through Windows Security settings, but it's not an option. I've attached a screenshot.

I would like to disable the requirement to have to enter my PIN to view saved passwords on Chrome. This is my home desktop so I do not need this security feature. Is there any way to turn the feature off?
