I'm a swede so i will step in and have an opinion. *LOL* *chuckle On my Windows7 my folders becomes.. A AA Z Å Ä Ö I will boot up my win10 VM and have a look *Smile I'll be back in a few Edit and back a few minutes later This is my win10Pro VM 22H2 19045.2606

 

NVIDIA Quadro AA Modes

Hello all,

I was looking through the different AA modes for the quadro card in my Precision laptop. I have a limited understanding of how AA actually works. What has me curious is for example with the GTX 670 in my desktop has different labeled modes than the ones for the laptop quadro.

Then the modes listed for the Quadro:





My main question here is this:

How do the different modes differ?

For instance the Quadro has three different 8x modes listed. One is 4xMS 4xCS and the other is 4xSS and 2xMS, then the other is just 8x MS. How do these differ and which one is better?

 

Sort by name: AA is not at the start

The suggestion to change Windows locale is correct. Scandinavian languages automatically treat AA as Å (which sorts after Z). If you look online, there's many examples where the ISO standard requires programmers to follow this rule. Switching to any English (US or GB) locale would force an English-based sort order (AA is not collated as Å).
