Windows 10: Error 0x000003F1: The Configuration registry database is corrupt.

I have no audio and I have a x over the mic symbol in the bottom right. Im trying to install the audio drivers using device manager but everytime I add the driver file I get the error above. I also tried to use cmd to fix the problem but nothing is working. I have a HP Pavilion TG01-0023W, PLEASE HELP!

Configuration database registry is corrupt.

Running into the "The configuration database registry is corrupt." error while trying to install drivers for a new USB audio interface I've just purchased.

I've tried using a registry cleaner and sfc/ scannow, the latter came back with no integrity violations.

Since one day, my computer has been unable to recognize USB devices when they are plugged in. This includes mice, keyboards, USB drives, and even a USB docking station. When I check the device manager, it shows an error. So, I tried to manually install the drivers. The mouse was successfully installed, but the keyboard installation failed. Then, I checked the setupapi.dev.log file located in C:\Windows\INF and found the following error messages.
