Windows 10: Is WSL Ubuntu drive encripted by BitLocker?

I'm starting to use ubuntu via WSL, my windows disk is encrypted by using BitLocker.I need to know if also the ext4.vhdx disk is automatically encrypted by BitLocker or if I've to install some packages in ubuntu.Thanks in advance,Andreas

Does setting version 1 as the default help?

• wsl --set-default-version 1
  

Or, try installing it from Microsoft Store.

• Click this Store app link for Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

I have installed this by command-> wsl --install -d Ubuntu-20.04

 

How do I open WSL Ubuntu?

I have launched the GUI and when I attempt to re-install WSL and Ubuntu, a message replies that they are already installed. I have no idea how to launch them. When I click the Ubuntu icon at the Start menu it takes me to PowerShell with the command line "my username and my computer name :~$"

What would you suggest that I enter after the :~$
