  1. Forced Win 11 Upgrade

This is more of a product issue. I just finished watching a Netflix documentary regarding the excessive waste generated by humanity and culture of Buy, Buy, Buy. Electronics was at the top of the list and the number of iPhones, Pad, PCs, TVs and more generate a huge amount of waste, a lot of it extremely toxic and damaging to the environment. Now Win 11 comes along and if I want to upgrade, I will be forced to toss a perfectly good PC as it does not meet the requirements for Win11. This is a huge contributing factor to our electronic waste. Of course, I could continue using Win 10, which is pe

    Upgrade to Win 11

Trying to upgrade laptop to Win 11. My processor is listed on Microsoft compatibility list as one that will work with Win 11, but the health check says it won't and therefore will not allow upgrade. All other items on list are ticked green. Any advice please?

    Thanks.

  3. Upgrade to Win 11

Hello, I'm A&K, here to help.

Unfortunately, your processor isn't on the Windows 11 processor support list. So you can't install Windows 11.

You can choose to ignore the Windows 11 compatibility check and force Windows 11 to install, and in most cases, it will work, but this is still not recommended.

If you want to force the installation of Windows 11, you need to use the ISO image of Windows 11, which you can download at: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win....

  4. Forced Win 11 Upgrade

IE 11 won't load, white screen, after win 10 upgrade.

I have this issue as well and noted it in another post. None of the MS support suggestions work.

The issue is that ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, IE 11 will only display web pages that are listed in the "compatibility view." Obviously we cannot add every web page to the compatibility view list. Is there a way to force IE 11 to open all web pages
in compatibility view? I am not expecting an answer really but since upgrading Windows 10, I have been forced by Microsoft to adopt a new browser. So, now I use Chrome for everything.
