Windows 10: How do I get my EPSON ET-4850 to recognize my laptop for scan to computer?

My EPSON ET-4850 printer no longer recognizes my Lenovo laptop as a recipient device for scanning the laptop is less than three months old-as of 3/10/25. The printer recognizes my laptop, but the scanner does not. What settings should I adjust to fix this? I've turned the scanner off and on a few times. I also enabled Microsoft Smart Print to ensure there are no driver issues. Help!

Unable to get Win10 to recognize EPSON 4870 Photo Scanner

I'll walk you though the steps I do to install my Perfection 1200. I have to do this periodically for some reason to reestablish the 'non-standard' Perfection 2400 driver.

1. Right click on the scanner in Device Manager (as Admin) and select Update Driver. Then select the option to browse my computer for driver software.



2. Then select Let me pick from a list of device drivers....



3. Select Imaging Devices from the next list.



4. Finally, select the correct Epson driver you have installed then click Next. If it isn't listed then something has gone wrong with the driver installation.



5. Hopefully, the scanner should now work?

Cannot scan to Computer from Epson WF-2830

I have just installed the printer in subject above. When I came to scan from printer to Laptop (which laptop I can see on the printer's screen) I am getting invalid. OS of laptop is Windows 10. Epson Scan 2, and Epson Event manager are installed. But while
when I type Epson Scan2 in the bottom left I get the App, when I do the same thing for the Epson Event Manager I do not get the APP.

When I open the COntrol panel the Epson Event Manager App is listed.
