Windows 10: Unable to get past lock screen on work account I have closed. Using "Other User" says...

I have a laptop that I originally used an LLC that I was sole proprietor of to set up. It had a "work" email address. I have since let that old email lapse and now I can't get into my laptop. I am the administrator but because the account is closed, I'm trying to move it over to my personal account. I cannot get past the lock screen but can boot up into the Administrator mode. How can I change the administrator to be my personal account so I can get in again? According to a help file it says to put "wmic useraccount get fullname, name" into the command prompt, but all I get back is "No Instanc

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.

  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.

  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.

  Close the Personalization window.

Windows 10 - Unable to change account picture and lock screen

Hi, I just realized after recent major update on windows 10 I'm facing some issues.
1. Unable to change account picture



2. Stuck on changing lock screen




I already do some troubleshooting:
1. sfc /scannow
2. DISM
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
- DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
3. manually change the source of image in
- C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
- C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData
but, none of them is working..

Please help me to find a solution instead of re-install the whole windows (which is exhausting). Thank you.

 

Work account user not displaying on the lock screen

When I log in to my system using my work account, the lock screen works perfectly displaying both my work account and personal account.

But when I log in to my personal account and then lock my system, the lock screen doesn't display the work account user. I have to manually type the account credentials every time I switch between work & personal accounts.
