    Hi, I've got an OMEN 15 Laptop 15-en0xxx with Windows 11 Pro, AMD Ryzen 7 4800H, 16Gb of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 dedicated graphics.In the last months the laptop began to freeze while I was doing ordinary things not gaming by the way, or while doing nothing, and after some time it crashed reporting DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE or alternatively SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in the BSOD. Then it rebooted but it couldn't get into Windows immediately, it gave me another BSOD with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, then rebooted again and finally I could enter the OS again. However the proble

  2. HP Omen 15 laptop crashing and BSOD again after temporary fix

    Hello. I am once again asking regarding a crashing and BSOD issue with my HP Omen 15 laptop. I previously had this issue earlier in the year and made they below thread.

    At the time a GPU issue was suspected so I uninstalled both the AMD and NVIDIA drivers with DDU and reinstalled them from the websites (the HP website for the AMD drivers since it was an integrated card and using the ones from the AMD website for AMD caused more crashing issues and from the NVIDIA website). I was crash free for about 1 and a half months before it began crashing and BSOD again. It occurs mainly during gaming but also during idle. The crashing appears to have gotten worse than before as it now occurs more frequently. I have again provided the system info and new DMP files below. I will try redownloading the drivers again but if anyone had any other suggestions I would appreciate it.

    System Model: OMEN Laptop 15-en0xxx

    Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics (16 CPUs), ~2.9GHz

    RAM: 16 GB RAM (two 8 GB sticks)

    Storage: 1 TB SSD

    GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti

  3. My Omen 15-en0xxx Keeps Crashing

    Good day. I've been searching for fixes for this issue for some time now and finally decided to ask my question here.

    So my laptop specifications are:
    HP Omen 15-en0xxx
    AMD Ryzen 7 4800H (16CPUs) ~2.9GHz
    16GB RAM
    1T SSD

    I've been getting random crashes, whether it be the screen goes black and I have to hard reset, or the Audio Lags out into a BSOD.

    Most times it crashes with a BSOD, and has varying messages ranging from:
    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER
    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

    All of these result from ntoskrnl.exe which to my understanding isn't the source of the issue, but it's what crashes due to issues elsewhere.

    I have:
    Updated my Drivers
    Stopped using Windows Defender
    Restored Windows
    Ran the Memory Diagnostic tool
    Ran sfc /scannow.

    All of these have not helped in resolving the crashes.

    An interesting thing to note is that the crashes only occur when the laptop is plugged in. While on battery, I do not experience these BSODs. And it seems that while I have a game open, I don't get BSODs either, even at times when the audio lags (which usually results in a crash when I do not have a game running).

    I've looked all over for a resolution to these crashes and cannot find out what is wrong.

    Unfortunately, this BSOD shows early signs of a hardware issue.

    The bugcheck was 12B i.e. FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE

    First of all update BIOS to F42:
