Windows 10: My Computer Stops Responding After Several Hours

For some odd reason, my computer stops responding after several hours. Everything freezes, even the drives. My custom power plan, which I named "Document Machine", is high performance, as far as I know. I wonder, is there a way to check to see what configuration the power plan is, whether balanced, high performance, or power saver?

My Windows 10 approaches 100% then stops responding - Blue screen with circulating display 100% ready with no activity for long period. I tried to

• Check to ensure there is disk activity (look at the hard disk LED light to confirm. If there is, keep waiting. If setup go beyond 2 to 3 hours, try the following steps.
• Power down the computer. Unplug it, then wait 20 mins to 1 hour.
• Disconnect it from the Internet (unplug Ethernet or turn off Wi-Fi).
• Plug it again, ensure it remains disconnected from the Internet then start computer.
• See if it completes setup.
• If setup completes and you see the desktop with the ability to click Start and launch programs, proceed to reconnect to the Internet.

...........as you recommended, but I still have same problem, nothing changed. Can you give me other advice?

try the card in another machine is all i can suggest now. If it works in that one but not urs then obviously the card is not compatible with your motherboard. Last resort is to tell Asus to go suck on donkey balls and get a different make of board
