    I don't believe so from my limited experience so far.



    No, but it sure would be a terrific update if it did. I might suggest that you make a suggestion for the need for this functionality in the Suggestion Box.



    Feature suggestions can be made at

    You could also use the Suggestion Box app to post suggestions & feature requests for wp7 from your windows phone.

    Alarm in Silent Mode?

    Does windows phone 8 have alarm in silent mode? I would love to be able to wake up to an alarm without being bothered by email/text message notifications throughout the night. Through the volume settings, all I can find includes ring, ring + vibrate, vibrate,
    and silent. There seems to be no silent except alarm setting.

    Does this option exist? Will I need to find a third party solution?

    Alarm in Silent Mode?

    Yes, on the Nokia Lumia 920 the alarm will work, even if the phone is on Silent. The alarm will not work if the phone is off though, unlike the Nokia N8 which will sound the alarm and offer to turn the phone on aswell. Another example of Windows Phone
    8's lack of options. Give it time.
