Windows 10: Offline Maps from Settings

I have downloaded maps in Windows11 through Settings>Apps>Offline maps, and I have searched in vain for an app/program through which I can view them. Questions:1 . Settings etc tells me they have been downloaded but I can't find them on my hard drive;;- -where might they be downloaded to? do not appear in Downloads 2. What software/app can I use to open them so I can view them offline, assuming I can find them on the harddrive. as MS maps can't read them now - I can't find a suitable app in my searches to dateThank you, Chris

NO Maps Offline

Hi FrancoTerracciano,

Follow these steps on how to use Offline Maps:

1. Download maps before you go offline. Then later, search for places and get directions in the Maps app, even without Internet access.
   
2. On your Windows 10 PC or phone, select Settings
   > Apps, and then choose
   Offline maps.
3. Select Download maps and follow the instructions.
4. On Start
   , select Maps to search for places and get directions on the downloaded maps.

Offline Maps for Pakistan

Hello,

If you wish to download the offline map for Pakistan, then it is currently unavailable on the Windows phone. We suggest that you send a suggestion on the Feedback Hub so we can add it on the next update. To send a feedback on your phone, you can follow the
steps below:

• Go to All Apps, search for the Feedback Hub app.
• Open the menu icon at the top left side.
• Select Feedback, then at the top right side, tap the
  add button (+).
• Select Suggestion and fill up the box with the details needed.
• Select the right category, and then submit.

You can also download any alternative applications from the Store that support offline maps.

NO Maps Offline

Let's perform first a soft reset by holding both the volume down and power buttons for about 10-15 seconds till you feel a vibration then release. Once done with the soft reset, follow steps below:

Offline maps:

Download maps over Wi-Fi before you go, then use the Maps app to search for and get directions, even when you're offline.

1. On Start (Windows icon), swipe over to the All apps list, then select
   Settings > Apps > Offline maps.
2. Select Download maps, and then choose the region you want to download.

Tip: To save space on your phone, save your offline maps to an SD card. In
Settings > Apps > Offline maps, select the name of your SD card from the options under
Storage location.
