    Directstorage support for WIN 10


    Hello to Microsoft's Lovely Community.

    I have Ryzen 5 4650G with Only Vega 7 iGPU (DX12 and Shader model 6.8 supported) with 1 TB HDD (+ 2x 2TB Other HDDs) and Windows 10 22H2 [19045.4894] installed with no additional updates (Windows update disabled after os installation) which as my xbox game bar "Gaming Features" says GPU is Directstorage supported but OS is "This version of Windows does not support DirectStorage 1O optimizations"

    and HDD isn't NVME or SATA SSD, and I don't care as it support HDD since Directstorage v1.2

    My question is how can i add Directstorage support to my Windows? Keep in mind that i wouldn't not install win 11 cause it may decrease my gaming performance as my PC is LOW END!

    DirectStorage on Desktop - Support for Windows Storage Spaces

    Hello All,

    I have become more and more interested in DirectStorage on Desktop and, seeing the benefits in realtime benchmarks, am upgrading my PC with NVMe storage in mind. Has it been established whether or not DirectStorage on Desktop will support NVMe drives configured in a Windows Storage Space? This is assuming I have configured the Windows Storage Space with NVMe drives properly on a computer that meets the OS/GPU/NVMe requirements for DirectStorage on Desktop.

    Hi modo74,

    I have found the problem, you have the Sabrient Rocket 4,0 drive and according to an article I just read, that does not support DirectStorage and they they released a new model drive (Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus-G ) to support DirectStorage with the drive
