Windows 10: Pc booting to black screen and spinning wheel

For the last week my pc has been booting to a black screen and spinning wheel, it passes bios and everything but booting windows it doesn’t start. I’ve looked everywhere for fixes done the safe mode driver deleting and what not but it still every time I shut it down re boots to the black screen, I have no clue what to do and there’s not much help out there

Computer takes about 5 minutes to boot up with a black screen and spinning wheel

Went through the process in the guide of solution #1 and I’m not having the issue anymore even when I have all services turned on and startup options enabled. The problem went away when I restarted after disabling all services besides the Microsoft ones. Even after re selecting all the services the problem does not come back.

The black screen with the spinning wheel comes up for about 6 seconds then a black screen with a spinning dot wheel that says please wait comes up for about 1 second and then sends me to the login screen which has no slowdowns.

I ran solution 2 as well and booting in safe mode takes the same amount of time and runs through the same screens as described above except the black screen with the dotted spinning wheel.

Seems like it’s resolved itself but still unsure what was causing it.

 

Windows 10 Boot Failure, Spinning Wheel of Death

I hate it when Microsoft sends out an update to Windows 10 because I know that after the update installs my computer won't boot - just get a black screen with a spinning wheel of dots. Has anyone figured out how to boot once you get the black screen with
just the spinning dots?

 

Prolonged Spinning wheel on blank and black screen

Hi Microsoft,

I am experiencing the following problem:

• The windows fails to restart as expected.
• It gets stuck on a black and blank screen where only a dotted spinning wheel is seen at the bottom.
  This appears next to the default ALIENWARE boot screen that loads after pressing the power button.
• It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get on to the login screen.
• Sometimes it never arrives to the login screen.
• The above mentioned issue happens randomly. Not on all restarts.
• I have already re-installed/reset windows a few days ago. I had to re-install Windows again. It worked fine.
• The problem has started again.
• I must let you know that My PC does not have any unsigned or un-certified soft-wares. Every software and hardware in my PC is genuine from the beginning. Only genuine and safe sites with valid certificates are opened .
• Windows defender has never detected any trojan/malware/virus etc.

Kindly fix this.
