Windows 10: my bluetooth icon is missing and it is not connecting to any device

bluetooth icon is missing and if i go to the setting to connect to the bluetooth then it says cannot connect

• Is your Bluetooth device currently inserted?
• Can we have a screenshot of the interface where your Bluetooth went missing?

• Which version or build of Windows device are you using? To know, press
  Windows + R to open the Run window. Type winver
  and press Enter. A new window will open showing the version and build number of your Windows device.
• What were the recent changes made on your computer before you experienced this issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Did you receive any error messages?

Bluetooth quit connecting to all devices

Hi Kendra,

I hope you have been able to solve your Bluetooth problem and if not, maybe the suggestion below will help.

In some cases it is possible that the Bluetooth speakers might not re-connect.

• To re-connect your speakers, simply right click on the Volume Control icon and select Playback devices
• Select the device to connect and hit the connect option, while the device is powered on.
  
• Once the device is connected, please make sure that it is set as the “Default Device” or “Default Communications Device” depending on whether it is a music or voice connection.

Bluetooth icon is missing from Action Center when using HDMI

Hello there, I have a friend who told me this: I have Dell Inspiron 5999 and the Bluetooth is working fine. Recently, I bought a display and connected it to the laptop via HDMI. However the Bluetooth icon in the Action Center is not available when connecting the laptop to display. Sometimes I see the icon, but most of time (around 90%) of time the icon is missing. I did:

• Install the Bluetooth driver from Dell.
• Tried to edit the action center and add the Bluetooth icon, but it's not there to add it.
• Updated the Windows (Windows 10 Home).

What could be the cause? could be the HDMI itself? but it came with the monitor! Thank you for your time.
