Windows 10: Some requested a "single-use code to use with your Microsoft account" while I was offline

Some requested a "single-use code to use with your Microsoft account" while I was offline. When I tried to log in to my laptop today, the pin was changed. What actions should I take to ensure that I'm not hacked, or to stop the hack?
