Windows 10: Disable advertising on Windows 10 Pro lock screen

When my computer is locked and prior to engaging with it to enter a login, I see advertising in the lower, left-hand corner, just below the date. Shown below, it is the little box that says, "A great time to get organized!" The photo used in the background is my own, it is not the "Spotlight" feature.I would like to disable this advertising.I have already turned off "Get fun facts, tips, and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen", and the computer has been rebooted numerous times since making this change.What else might I try?

Yep, step 9 in your post is correct. This won't disable the lock screen at startup though.

If you have Windows Spotlight selected for your lock screen, you could switch to a picture instead to stop that bit of advertising.

• What is the edition of Windows 10 installed on the computer?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to disable the lock screen and check if it helps.

How to disable Lock screen on Windows 10 group policy:

If wanted to turn off lock screen pictures, then I suggest you to follow the steps below to turn off lock screen pictures through group policy editor.

1. Press Windows Key + R Key.

2. Type "gpedit.msc" without the quotes in the run box and hit on
Enter Key.

3. Then follow the path below:

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization

4. Now on the right side, Double click that
Do not display the lock screen option.

5. Set the option as Enabled.

6. Click on Apply and then click on
Ok.

7. Close Group policy editor and restart your computer.

Note: The above steps is applicable to Windows 10 pro version.

• Under Personalization, click on Lock screen.
• Toggle the switch for Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen to turn it
