Windows 10: Windows update install error - 0x8007042b

Hello,I've been getting an error each time I attempt to install the latest windows update 0x8007042b. I've tried both the main branch and the insider preview branch, with both getting the same error. It gets nearly to the end of installing, then my screen goes completely blank for around 2 minutes and undoes the update. I've attempted all the relevant solutions I could find online chkdsk, installing from ISO, etc. Here's the setuperr.log from my latest attempt, any help would be greatly appreciated! 0x8007042B-0x2000D windows 10 problem
except you can skip (2) as I assume you have a 1909 iso and bootable installation disk.
There will be one or two steps you've already performed- simply give the result where this is so.

There a user called @zbook who frequently handles upgrade failures presents a request for relevant data.

Please state the amount of free space on C: and post a screenshot of your partitions using a 3rd party partition manager- not Disk Management, making sure all text is visible.

Please also, as a matter of routine, run these checks:
Disk: HDTune (free) - Health and Error scan tabs and post the result.

From an admin command prompt run
chdsk C: /scan
and post the summary result.

 

error 0x8007042b when adding a Yahoo Mail account to MS Mail App

I went this route and added passwords for yahoo mail. I might try this method above to get gmail to buck up! *Tongue

@Bastet, this is probably what you were referring to the whole time.


YAHOO MAIL FIX
2FA needs to be enabled which it already was and just follow these steps below.

1. In yahoo mails account security, click on manage app passwords.




2. After selecting other app and entering the new app name in the text box




3. Now, in Windows 10 mail app, add this type of account.




4. In Windows 10 mail app, enter your details and the password generated by step 2.




Fully functional mail app again.



GMAIL FIX

Now similar steps to setting up Gmail. Here I'll only go through the Gmail steps as Windows Mail App setup is the exact same.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
