Windows 10: Mouse cursor/pointer keeps increasing in size randomly every reboot without a visible...

Hi,I've had this problem for quite some time already but can't seem to find a working solution here or anywhere else. So my mouse cursor keeps increasing its size every time I reboot my laptop without any visible change in the settings. I usually keep my cursor's size at its minimum size 1 in windows 11, and the size that it increases to is somewhere between 2 and 3. The change doesn't usually happen immediately: I suspect it has some sort of a keyboard related trigger since usually the pointer turns huge when I'm typing. How can the detection zone for the window resize cursor be increased?

Unfortunately, there's no built-in setting in Windows to specifically increase the detection zone for the window resize cursor. However, there are a few workarounds that may help:

1. Increase Mouse Pointer Size:
   
   • Go to Settings -> Ease of Access -> Cursor & pointer
     
   • Here, you can increase the pointer size, which might make it easier to hit the detection zone.
     
2. Adjust Mouse Sensitivity:
   
   • Go to Control Panel -> Mouse -> Pointer Options
     
   • Decrease the mouse speed or enable Enhance pointer precision . This can make the mouse movement more controlled and accurate, making it easier to hit the detection zone.
     
3. Change Display Scaling:
   
   • Go to Settings -> System -> Display
     
   • Under Scale and layout , you can increase the size of text, apps, and other items. This will also increase the size of window edges, making the detection zone larger. However, this will also make everything else on the screen larger.
     
4. Use Keyboard Shortcuts:
   
   • To resize windows without using the mouse, you can use the keyboard shortcut Alt + Space , then press S for size or M for move, and use the arrow keys to resize or move the window.

Open PC settings.

Step 2: Choose Ease of Access to enter its settings.

Step 3:Click Mouse, and choose new pointer size and color in the options.

Way 2: Change Mouse Pointer size and color in Mouse Properties.

Step 1: Click the lower-right Start button, type mouse in the search box and select Mouse in the results to open Mouse Properties.

Step 2: Tap Pointers, click down arrow, choose a scheme from the list and select OK.
