Windows 10: Can you help me fix my high latency on my computer.

When I load up websites, I load in pretty fast into the websites but on the video I lag a lot but , I can't get over 480p on videos. On some games that i play, I can load into the menu, but can't load into a server within the game. A game like Roblox I can load into the menu but can't load into a server.

High DPC (Deferred Procedure Call) latency can indeed cause the issues you're experiencing. The `storport.sys` driver is related to storage port I/O, and high latency in this driver can lead to system freezes and audio glitches.

As suggested by LatencyMon, disable any CPU throttling settings in the BIOS. This includes settings like AMD Cool N Quiet and Intel Speed Step. These settings can sometimes interfere with real-time performance. Back up your important files in advance, just in case.

You can also check SATA Ports. Some users reported that moving their SSD to different SATA ports on their motherboard helped reduce latency. If you have other drives connected, try disconnecting them and see if the issue persists.

In addition, high-performance power plans can sometimes help reduce latency issues. Go to Control Panel (You can search it in Start menu) > Power Options and select a high-performance plan.

High Latency

I'm having an issue with high latency. After a reboot the computer runs fine....but over time the latency continues to increase so eventually everything starts to respond so slow that it is unusable and have to do a hard restart. I haven't been able to
figure it out. I bought an external network card to use instead of the onboard one hoping that would fix it....but same results. Anyone have any ideas??

High DPC latency can cause a computer to slow to a crawl for a few seconds before speeding up again to catch up, this cause poor quality, stuttering, audio and skipping in real time video playback. To resolve you concern, we recommend that you follow
these method:



Method 1: Run the
System Maintenance troubleshooter and check the status.

• Open Control Panel.
• Click on ‘search’ and type ‘Troubleshooting’ and select ‘Troubleshooting’.
• On the left pane click "View all" and then click "System Maintenance" and run the troubleshooter.
• Once the troubleshooter is run, restart the computer and check the status.

If the issue still persists, proceed to the method below:

Method 2: Run SFC scan and DISM.

Running SFC scan will automatically scans for any corrupted system files and drivers and automatically fix it. Following with DISM will help fix any underlying issues that was not fix by SFC scan. To perform this task, we recommend that you switch
