Windows 10: I want to download offline languages in microsoft translator windows 10, but the server...

so this year why can't the server be connected? even though in 2022 it can still be connected. is there a new policy? even on android version it doesn't connect

Microsoft Translator Download Language Offline no working

Hello,

loaded the Microsoft Translator and want (need) to work offline. When I try to download the language packages I need, it provides the list of available languages, but does not start downloading -- in fact, there seems to be no way to select a language. I
have clicked on the language and get a green bar on the left side, but nothing more.

My name is Rhaine, I'm Independent Community Advisor and I'm happy to assist you. I am using Microsoft Translator, let us work together to sort this out.

What device you are using to download the Microsoft Translator Language? Is it on your pc or phone?

If you are using your pc , try uninstalling the app, once done perform a clean boot.

Here’s the steps:

Perform Clean Boot

- This process will eliminate 3rd party application running in the background of your computer along with services that are not needed to run windows. If there's any conflicting 3rd party application that causes the issue on your computer, this process will
stop it.

1. Open the run box by pressing the Windows Key + R and type msconfig

2. System Configuration Utility box will open and by default you are on general tab.

3. On the General tab, click the selective startup and make sure that load system service and load startup items both have checked mark.

4. Click on services tab

5. Put a check mark on Hide All Microsoft Services > This is a very important part as if you miss to click on this, computer might not boot properly or permanently and will end up on clean installation.

6. Once Hide all Microsoft Services have checked mark on it, click on Disable All

7. Click on the Startup Tab and click open task manager. This will open another window which contains all your startup applications on the administrator account.

8. Disable all application that you're not using. You can simply just click on them and select disable.

9. Click OK , Apply and close the configuration utility.

10. Restart you pc and download the app again and the language offline.

To be able to use Translator when you are offline, you need to download the language packs of the from-language and the to-language you'd like to use when you are offline. The English language pack has already been downloaded.

Downloading a language pack works as follows:

 Make sure you are using a Wi-Fi connection and that your device is not in battery saving mode.

 Tap or click on Translator

 Tap or click on Language Packs at the top right of your screen

 Tap or click on the language pack you would like to download from the list of language packs on the right of your screen

 Tap or click on Download

 You will see that the language pack starts to download

The language pack has downloaded when you see that it appears in the Installed list on the left of your screen.

Uanble to download language pack for translator app

I use translator a lot, and want to use it offline if necessary, on my Windows 10 laptop.

I have tried to download the Greek language pack using ... / language packs / install in the app but nothing happens. I also tried to download Spanish as a test, and again nothing happens.

I also have translator installed on a Lenovo Android tablet, and was able to download the Greek language pack for offline use in a couple of minutes today.

So I can download it no problem on an Android tablet, but not on a W10 laptop.

Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong?
