Windows 10: The latest W11 update bricked my Geekom computer

The latest W11 updates bricked my Geekom computer. I don't unfortunately for me have a recovery disk and none of the available recovery options that popped up worked. What are my options? The tech specs of the computer follow. The W11 version shown was the original that worked, not the last upgrade. latest update forces W11

I won't be going to 11 as my current computer is a 4th gen i5 (I am not planning on buying a new one anytime soon), however there is a simple program from Gibson Research (InControl) that blocks version updates unless you allow it. Its listed under the Freeware/Utilities tab: Home of Gibson Research Corporation

 

Latest Updates Bricked 2 Computers

The latest Windows 10 Pro updates bricked 2 of my computers with error 0xc000000f. I've tried using a Recovery USB and a Windows 10 iso DVD. None of the recovery options worked. I can't reinstall Windows because an error message says my HD has an MBR
partition and on EFI systems Windows can only be installed to GFT disks. That doesn't make sense to me because the computer was running

Windows 10 Pro and has been since the free upgrade from Windows 7 Pro last year. HP Elite 8200 with Windows 10 Prox 64 and 16gb memory. How can I get my computers back?

 

Latest W11 updates check for TPM v2

Hi folks Any of you guys thinking of upgrading to W11 -- even if you get a release installed without a TPM the latest upgrades via WU now check for a TPM and won't upgrade even if you are running W11. One way round that is to run W11 in a Virtual machine with a software TPM emulator -- I think HYPER-V has one and in Linux swtpm package installs the IBM TPM emulator which is recognized by even the latest version of W11.



The Windows system also after running tpm.msc will show an icon with a key --last one on the right in the screenshot
