A few months ago I easily added money to my sons account through Microsofts My Family. Now it's "having trouble processing my payment" from any of my credit cards. I've tried at least 20 times. HELP.................

How do I add money to my Microsoft account ? When I try to I am redirected to the gift card page. When I then try to buy a gift card it only accepts usa addresses for buyer details. I am not interested for obvious security reasons in linking my credit card
permanently to my Microsoft account.
