    Cannot Copy From PC To SD Card

    As mngerhold said, these might not be 2 TB cards. There have been scammers who sell cards with a claimed capacity far above the actual. This has been going on almost since SD cards first appeared.

    So ... if you copy data to the SD card in excess of its actual capacity you'll get an error.

    But typically the error message would indicate that the drive is full. Instead yours says "The file and directory is corrupted and unreadable." This suggests that the SD is defective.

    But wait! I wonder whether that error message refers to the source that you're copying from?
    Or to the SD destination that you're copying to?

    So check to see that all your source files are accessible and good. If they are good then it's plain that the SD is the problem.

    It probably is at fault. Who ever heard of 2 TB SD cards? AFAIK the biggest ones are 1 TB, and they cost over $400 each.

    SD card/SD card reader no longer working

    Hi. New to this so not sure of category.
    I have a Lenovo G70. Windows 10, 64bit
    My SD card reader has stopped working.
    In Device Manager, the SD card is not listed.
    I can't format the card as it is not listed.
    I cannot locate the card at all as it is not listed anywhere.
    I've tried chkdsk and get 'Cannot open volume for direct access'
    I don't even have the icon displaying when micro SD card is inserted.
    It did work previously but I had errors. Scanning and fixing did not help.
    I place the SD card in my Android phone and it works fine.
    Please help!

    I am attempting to do the same thing.

    Replace an SC card with a larger SD card on a Lumia 1520.

    While I understand this explanation for apps, my photos, videos, and music are not being recognized. Storage sense lists photos and videos, however they are not available in the photo album, just black squares. The music is also listed under 'other, the
    albums and songs show up in the music app, however none of the files will play. I have attempted to copy the data traditionally and with robocopy.

    What would be the best way to achieve the desired result of having everything moved from one SD card to another?
