I can't install Samsung Smarthru Office because the user access control feature in MS OS in Windows 11 is blocking the installation.

I can't install Samsung smarthru.

I can't install Samsung Smarthru software. I cannot even switch to the administrator account. Why had MS locked down my own system. I'm really bummed and need help

 

Samsung SmarThru Office v2 - Samsung not trusted as a signer


Trying to install Samsung SmarThru office V2 for my printer/scanner, but Windows 10 reports the signer of the executable is not trusted, I downloaded from the Samsung website and the signer is shown as Samsung.

There seems to be no way to bypass this, anyone have a clue whats going on?

One of the possible reasons that this issue occurs is due to a corrupted user profile or changes in the administrator’s settings. If you can’t use your administrator account, you may migrate the standard user profile to an Administrator profile by following
these steps:

• Press Windows key + R, then type netplwiz and hit Enter.
• If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
• Click and highlight the User profile, which you want to make administrator.
• Click on Properties, then select the Group Membership tab.
• Select the Administrator, Click Apply/OK.

Once done, check if you can now install the Samsung Smarthru software.
