Windows 10: How to prevent 23H2 automatically upgrading to 24H2?

Yesterday 08 Feb 2025, I noticed my Intel computer had automatically upgraded my perfectly-working Windows Pro 23H2 installation to 24H2. This gave me two problems, the first trivial but annoying, the second, a serious issue:1 Lots of my preferences console layout, wallpaper, etc had been trashed and I had to spend time restoring them2 My HP LaserJet P2050 printer stopped workingI've been researching this community, and it seems that many other people have the same or similar problems.I have temporarily resolved the issue by rolling back to 23H2, allowing my printer to work perfectly o

We have a customer who currently has the W11 22h2 in operation and would like to suspend 23h2 in order to switch to 24h2 in 2025. What is Microsoft's recommendation in this regard? Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?
