Windows 10: Windows security keeps freezing

I have been trying to change “when should windows require you to sign in” to never but everytime the prompt opens for me to enter my PIN it freezes. Nothing on the PC will work. The only thing I can do is get into the task manager and force close the settings. This has been something that windows needs to fix. I haven’t been able to access safe mode or even safe mode with networking because it always asks for either my pin or password, but tells me there’s a problem and won’t let me sign in. IT IS MY DESKTOP COMPUTER, I DONT NEED IT TO HAVE A FREAKING PASSWORD THAT REQUIRES ME TO LOG IN EVERY.
