Windows 10: Why can't i boot windows instalation media when i switched my sata m.2 with windows on it

So i just upgraded my pc from a ryzen 5 3500 gtx 1660 to a ryzen 7 5700x, rtx 3060 and i also upgraded my sata m.2 which has windows on it with a newer one, i already installed a usb media installation through usb but when i tried to boot it it just wouldn't load the instalation media but instead it's just stuck on a blue screen. I tried upgrading it to windows 11 but when that didnt work i tried installing windows 10 again on the new sata but thats where the blue screen starts popping up, i tried turning secure boot on and off, disabled or enabled csm but it just wouldnt work, any ideas? Switching from SATA SSD to M.2 SSD?

Just built a new PC for the company I work for. It has two hard drives, a SATA SSD and an M.2 SSD. They have an IT company who is in charge of installing windows and network setup and the guy installed Windows 10 to the SATA instead of the M.2. I tried to switch this using System Image Recovery but it did not work and now the M.2 is allocated as the D drive. Is there any way to switch this over or am I now stuck with this configuration?

i was with a ssd sata and now i have ssd m.2, i formatted and put windows 11 in m.2, but i did not remove the ssd sata, i can only boot windows with the ssd sata connected, if i remove it windows does not boot to m.2



obs: windows was installed on m.2 but the ssd sata was still connected, but windows was 100% installed on m.2, is there any way I can set m.2 as primary? (when i removed the ssd sata it did not recognize windows)

The handiest option would be to use the free version of Macrium Reflect to clone the SATA SSD onto the the M.2 SSD then set that as the primary boot drive and wipe the SATA SSD once Windows is booting from the M.2SSD.
