    I turned on my Surface Pro and there’s a message “before you can start Windows Hello you...


    I changed my pin last week because I received a warning from my password manager that it was found on the web. It went fine. I tried turning it on this week and can’t get into it. Face recognition doesn’t work and neither does my Windows password.I can’t set up a new pin, because nothing happens when I click on set up new pin. All I do is go in circles. I restart, tried holding shift + power and tried everything on the blue screen. I don’t have a restore point, I don’t have Windows 10 on a flash drive. I can’t trouble shoot. It just ends up back at the screen with the message that I have to

    Hi,

    It really is surprising that you're getting this kind of error message.

    Having said that, please provide the answers to the following for us to be able to learn more about your concern:

    • Is your Windows 10 updated?
    • Are your drivers up-to-date? If not, you can follow the steps found on this
      link       on how to update your drivers in Windows 10.
    • What were the changes made before the issue started?

    In the meantime, you can check this link
    for steps in troubleshooting issues with Windows Hello on Surface.

    Let us know what happens after following the steps from the link.

    Hi, thank you. I could restart my surface pro 4 but still could not fix the Surface Pro 4 screen not turn on after sleep. I am still looking forward to hearing more suggestions to fix the black screen after sleep.
