Windows 10: Problems with Installing and Updating .NET Framework 4.8.1

Brief description of the problem:I receive an error message when attempting to run a program that requires .NET Framework 4.8.1 Plarium Play. The program prompts me to install .NET Framework 4.8.1, but when I try to install it, an issue arises, and the system reports that the version is already installed. I checked Programs and Features, and .NET Framework 4.8.1 is not listed. In the registry, I only found .NET Framework 4.0, with no mention of .NET Framework 4.8.1. I have tried reinstalling .NET Framework, resetting Windows updates, and even rolling back Windows updates, but the issue persi

1. How did you uninstall the Microsoft .NET Framework 4?
2. From where are you trying to download the Microsoft .NET Framework 4?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to follow the below steps.
1. Press Windows + X, and select programs and features.

2. In the Programs and Features window, click Turn Windows features on or off.

3. Under Windows Features dialog, uncheck .NET Framework 4 and click Ok
when if prompt confirmation.

4. Reboot your PC.

5. Once you reach desktop screen, reopen the Windows Features dialog, and this time
enable the .NET Framework 4 checkbox, and click Ok.
