Windows 10: Desktop screen brightness problem

I accidentally hit a bunch of keys on my keyboard all at the same time and now my main monitor screen on my desktop windows 10 computer is very dim. It seems to be stuck like this and I can't find a solution in settings. My secondary monitor has no such problem but when I use the Windows & Tab keys shortcut to show all my open windows my secondary monitor goes black. My other new problem is with my mouse. On my secondary monitor it feels sharp as per usual, but on my primary my cursor feels very laggy and slow. Not sure how I managed to create these problem but it must have been some sort

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

Method 2: I suggest you to update the display drivers and check if the issue persists.

Steps to update the drivers for the Display Adapter.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on Update.

Desktop Screen Brightness - Windows 10

New desktop unit (ASUS) running Windows 10. Cannot find where to adjust screen brightness (Samsung Monitor). Display properties do not show a slider bar for adjustment. Ran driver update and still not there. Where do I go for a step by step solution.
