  1. Windows 11 constant DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD upon using pc for first 15-30 mins after boot

Hi all,as stated in the title I've been having this issue for the past couple of months in which my computer will boot fine, but freeze up/crash if it's used too extensively with the same BSOD error each time. It will sometimes crash on it's own just from the start-up apps loading, even without any input. It is not instant, and will sometimes cycle through multiple freezes before eventually crashing entirely. The band-aid solution I've found is to just leave the PC alone to 'warm up' for about half an hour, in which then it is absolutely fine and will no longer crash even with extended use. How

BSOD after 15 min idling (following boot). DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION 133

    Hello,

So I just bought a brand new HP spectre, installed few softwares like CCleaner, Speccy... And randomly get BSOD 10 or 15 min after booting (btw booting takes some time , about 1min ((for an SSD that's quite long isn't it ?))). I noticed that it can take up to 30 min to crash when wifi is off, but it rapidly crashes when I'm actively using an internet browser, for example.

I updated some stuff, like BIOS or graphic card but at this point I'm lost. I even had troubles to use the log collector since I got BSOD during the process.
    Here's the log : Attachment 145121

    Thank you.

    DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD on WINDOWS 11

Hello, recently I got a BSOD DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error on Windows 11. This only occurred when I Booted Up PC > Start Steam > Press Play Game in Steam > PC Froze and Crashed to this BSOD error.

I just need verification on what caused this error but I am assuming it's my Graphics Driver?

TIA, Heres the minidump file: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1k0XXCrPOQH3bGqt0gsulk-CH3NdUaEOq?usp=sharing

    Windows 11 BSOD - DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

I recently updated my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The PC itself is about 3 years old but has been upgraded with new components about 18 months ago.

Throughout this entire time, I ran Windows 10 without issue - no crashes and no BSODs.

Since updating to Windows 11 about a month ago, I am encountering BSODs fairly regularly. The most common stopcode I see is DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. It occurs mainly when playing certain 3D games.

One 3D modelling program in particular encounters it nearly every time - within 2-3 minutes of loading it the system locks up for about 30 seconds and I get a BSOD with the above stopcode, then the system reboots. I ran this program for hours at a time with no issue in Windows 10.

I am monitoring my system and GPU temps while running these programs as I thought it was an overheating issue, but the temps are stable. And the system ran fine for years under Windows 10 no matter what.

Other demanding games and 3D modelling programs can also run for hours under this installation of Windows 11 with no problem. I can run a CPU stress test using AID64 Extreme with no overheating or throttling.

Since encountering this issue, I've tried the following:

    • Updating Nvidia Drivers for GPU (as at 8 Feb 2022)
    • Installing latest Windows 11 update (as at 8 Feb 2022)
    • Updated ASUS motherboard drivers (wifi, bluetooth, chipset, etc)
    • Ran sfc /scannow - Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
    • Checked SSD firmware updates - all good.
    • Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic - all good.
    • Ran Error Checking Tool on my SSD (This PC > C > Properties > Tools > Error checking). No errors found.
    Any help would be appreciated!
