Window 10 Legacy photos app will not work on files taken with my Nikon Z8. The codec is up to date. It works fine for Nikon Z9 files.It will display fine if I'm in tile view, but when I open a picture full screen to check for details in the image, it's fine for a very short period, and then the screen goes to crazy colors and with solid on the bottom and lots of colors and thin lines on top. I've already tried to reinstall it.

Nikon Coolpix connected to Windows 10 HELP.....

When I connect Nikon Coolpix to my PC with Windows 10 a screen comes up that shows my device but nothing to click to transfer photos to a certain file. If I exit and click on an existing photo on windows there is an icon for "import" but it doesn't ask WHERE
to import the NEW camera photos ..... This is so confusing Windows 7 was a breeze.

I just want to transfer photos into a specific file but I'm never prompted using Windows 10..... Do I need a special app for my Nikon Coolpix S8100?? Please help, I need step-by-step as Windows 10 imo is not user friendly like 7 was...... Thank you

Not able to see NEF image Raw files(Nikon) in windows 10.

Hi,

I am not able to see NEF image raw files from Nikon. I could see there are some codec available for win 7 & 8 and its mentioned Win10 has all the codecs built in. But am not able to see any images in PHOTOS app.
