Windows 10: Mouse cursor and keyboard freeze when using Windows media player Windows 11

New info about locked item "mouse-cursor-and-keyboard-freeze-while-windows-11/1ff70a15-bbe2-4b53-973d-0497fa7ea26d" :I experience exact same problem as mentioned in that item : when playing a mp3 with Windows Media Player wmplayer,exe, cordless mouse wavers then dies, and no way to wake it up before end of the audio and full wake-up is progressive as well. But :1- When stuck, using a good old wired mouse plugged to another USB port then gives back control immediately2- This problem does NOT occur when using Multimedia player Microsoft.Media.player.exe instead.So, who's guilty, the mouse

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)
