Windows 10: HP 17-cn0033dx unable to reinstall Windows 11, disk not found

Device: HP 17-cn0033dx laptopHistory: Was given to me from a friend. I have no login password and it had 3rd party security. I was wiping a HDD on a laptop my friend gave me and erased the OS by mistake. Now, I can't get it to recognize the HDD and reinstall Windows 11. I ran command prompt codes: diskpart, select disk 0, clean, gpt. Well, there is no legacy option for this BIOS that I can find and I don't know if I need to install an updated driver for the HDD to be located. The BIOS sees the HDD in UEFI but has no options to manage it. When performing a clean install the HDD is not seen. If

No disks show up when I go to reinstall windows 11

I've been trying to reinstall windows 11 using an installation media due to my laptop not booting up properly, I managed to follow the steps but it had crashed early on due to the installation media being broken? So I reinstalled the media onto my drive again and followed the steps again- I think I accidentally deleted the disk I was meant to install windows on though, because it no longer shows up when I go to install it

And the only thing that shows up when I use a command to look at the disk list is my USB. And the boot list no longer shows 2 options [two being whatever I had already on there and my usb boot]

• When you say, “how do I open the cd/dvd disk drive on the back” are you not able to open the drive to enter a disk or trying to replace the drive?
  
• What is the exact model number of the HP Envy PC that you are using? To check type:
  msinfo32 in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If the CD/DVD drive is not getting detected on the computer, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the HP article

If you are unable to burn CD/DVD using the drive, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned in the HP article

Windows 8x reinstall

I would suggest trying a windows 8 Iso from the microsoft site . I did battle to get a working link on there site , if link down use chat support and ask for a link to win8
Im pretty sure its got to do with the the windows not seeing the sata controller ,because it does not have the necessarily sata/raid/ahci drivers on the disk to load the sata controller prior to detecting the hdd
Which then need to be slipstream into the disk and reburned , have needed to slipstream a few on windows 7 and 8 i think, especially on HP units .

If able to post the exact model of the- hp omni 120 , ill search around in the morning for other solution .
