Windows 10: how to fix udate error: Install error - 0x80070103

hello i was having a update error on my lenovo thinkpad its intel core 11, and windows 10 or 11here is the error: Install error - 0x80070103someone pls respond. every time i tap install the update: Dolby - SoftwareComponent - 3.30702.720.0fails, and all i see is a warning on the windows update icon and a retry button for the update.

In Device manager I don't see any Graphic adapter to uninstall.

I've been having the same issue with the following drivers since this morning.

Hopefully, Microsoft will resolve this issue soon. I don't know why this happened all of a sudden.

 

Install error - 0x80070103

Windows Update keeps listing an available update, but when I run Update, I get an error: Intel - Net - 12.18.9.20 Install error - 0x80070103

I run the Windows Update troubleshooter (the one in Windows, not the download mentioned in so many articles with the broken link), and it finds a problem, and says it fixed it, but the problem persists. I attached an image of the issues below.

I have tried

• uninstalling the Intel adapters in Device Manager
  
• the process of renaming catroot2 and SoftwareDistribution as in this post
  
• ran system file checker, it found and fixed corrupted files
  

Nothing has worked.
