C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink installing windows 11 without deleting local data and files. is it possible? ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.

delete app data local files windows 10

Your solution didn't work I found an answer to my problem. Click into the internet explorer file on toolbar. Double click OS ( C ) located on the List Left Side of Page. Double click Users on list created then you can click files eg. App. Data, Temp.,
etc. Click View top right on page then click box to show Hidden files top center of page. The files in question can now be deleted.
