    window/dell commands updates are breaking the camera.


    after running several test, updates, I came to a conclusion to report that updating the windows 11 bios to 1.11.0 and running all drivers update via dell commands apps is breaking the camera. just you all know I have done very single troubleshootings steps that is supposed to be done but non of them has seems to resolve the issue. I am reporting this issue to microsoft community to find the root cause. Affect OS: windows 11. Operating system type: latitude 7450. Please help.Thanks, Adris

    Dell Monitor Camera

    I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

    Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.

    My DELL INSPIRON 15-5578 lists a > Realtek IR Camera Driver
    My older Dell's used > Dell Webcam Central

    Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile window/dell commands updates are breaking the camera. :)
