Windows 10: How to show certain icons like recycle bin but hide all others?

I know how to hide desktop icons in Win 11. I also know you can go into themes and click apply on recycle bin. However I can't get the recycle bin to show if the others are hidden. What do I do? Where do people put the recycle bin these days anyway?

• In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, do one of the following: To hide the Recycle Bin, clear the Recycle Bin check box. ...

Showing the Recycle Bin on you screen is possible. To do that, please follow these steps:

• Type Settings on your search bar.
• Select Personalization and choose Themes.
• Click on Desktop icon settings.
• Select the Recycle Bin and click Apply.
